The ADSS cable is constructed with a loose tube stranded structure. It features a 250µm optical fiber housed in a high modulus plastic loose tube filled with waterproof compound. The cable core is centered by a FRP strength member. The loose tube is twisted around the central reinforcement core, forming a compact and round cable core with a water-blocking filler. The cable is coated with a polyethylene (PE) inner sheath, followed by a high tensile strength aramid layer, and finally topped with an electric tracking (AT) outer sheath.
Our all-dielectric self-supporting aerial fiber optic cable is designed with several key features:
1. It's lightweight and can be laid alongside power lines, conserving resources.
2. The cable is made of high-tensile strength aramid material, which resists strong tension and prevents cockles and gunshots.
3. It has a small thermal expansion, ensuring minimal variation in cable line curvature during temperature changes.
4. The cable is double-jacketed with a PE/AT outer sheath.
5. It can span large distances, with a maximum span exceeding 1000 meters.
6. The cable has a lifespan of over 30 years.
